REDBULL CLIFF DIVING SHOOTING WAS MADE BY MEDAIR
Cliff diving, that is high jumping (Red Bull Cliff Diving Series) competitions, which is one of the most challenging sports and organized for the first time in Turkey by Redbull, realized in a special platform installed in Ataturk Park in Antalya.
Cliff diving/high jumping, Red Bull Cliff Diving Series, which is one of the most challenging sports in the world, became a breathtaking competition in which the athletes jump from the points 26 m high, reaching 90 km velocity in 2,5 seconds; and the limits of control, acrobatics and danger were pushed.
On 8 August, Saturday, 40,000 audiences gathered at Ataturk Park as an ant colony in Antalya and the Russian athlete Artem Silchenko came in first in the fifth point of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2009. The newlywed and 25-year old athlete was vigorously applauded by the Russian audiences who were on holiday in Turkish Riviera despite of the hot and humid air in the south of Turkey.
The organization was shot through MedAir helicopters.
