AERIAL SHOOTING OF ISTANBUL EUROPA RACE WAS PERFORMED BY MEDAIR
In the geatest sailing race of Europe, Istanbul Europa Race, which was performed with the participation of six boats, the aerial Photograph and Film shooting was provided by Medair.
Istanbul Europa Race which started through the show race on Friday and in which the whole Mediterranean will be crossed, will finish on September 27th in Brest city of France after Nice and Barcelona legs.
The start signal of the organization which is organized for the first time was given at the site of Ahirkapi at 12.00 by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister; Hayati Yazicioglu, Vice Prime Minister and the minister of the state in charge of publicity; Faruk Nafiz Ozak, the minister of state in charge of the sports; and Yunus Akgul, the General Manager of Youth and Sports.
With the start, the sailors who depart from Istanbul will arrive Nice, the French Riviera after 1450 sea miles. The subsequent leg will be between Nice and Barcelona. At the final leg, the sailors will sail from Barcelona, pass through Gibraltar toward Atlantic Ocean and they will arrive the finish point in Brest, the French City which is famous with navigation history.
