AIR DOLMUSH FROM ISTANBUL TO CERKEZKOY FOR 9 THOUSAND A MONTH
Within Esas Holding, Medair, which serves air taxi, air ambulance and VIP services through it's fleet with two helicopters, is about to give a start to the scheduled helicopter services to Çerkezköy Organize Sanayi Bölgesi (Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone).
Air dolmush (air shared-taxi) expeditions will be organized in the morning and evening hours to Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone where there have been 210 companies and 45 thousand employees. Through this service, the businessmen, who want to put an end to the traffic jam trouble, will be able to get their working place from İstanbul in 25 minutes. The cost of this service, which will start on March 31st, will be 9 thousand New Turkish Liras per company.
3 THOUSAND 200 PASSENGERS A YEAR:
Medair Sale and Marketing Director, Emre Yıldız, said that they will carry 12 passengers a day and 3 thousand 200 passengers a year to Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, specifying that they want to extend the service they starts for Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone to the other organized industrial zones. Yıldız said that there had been businessmen who make land investments, thus, they had a chance to see the land in the sky and they received demands from those businessmen.
THE TRAFFIC FORCES:
There have been 17 companies of the first 500 companies of Turkey in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone. The Chairman of Board of Directors of Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, Ömer Sarıoğlu said that they were going to change the view of the industrialists and went on "We ourselves requested for this service. I reside in Etiler. Instead of wasting my time in traffic jam, I am also going to benefit from the service. Other firms also show great interest to this service. The traffic conditions, which are getting more difficult, force businessmen for such solutions. This is important not only for human but also for replacement parts carriage. "
A TURNOVER OF 10 MILLION NEW TURKISH LIRAS:
Emre yıldız acquainted us about air taxi and helicopter sector and said, "We have two helicopters in our fleet. The numbers of the helicopters in Turkey are only 32. We want to increase the numbers of our helicopters to ten by 2010. There have 4-5 firms in the sector. There is more potential in the sector. We had a turnover of 10 million new Turkish Liras last year."
